Interim Master of Calumet College for the 2014-2015 academic year: Myriam Mongrain

Dear Colleagues and Staff

I am very pleased to announce that Myriam Mongrain is taking on an important leadership role as the interim Master of Calumet College for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Myriam is an award-winning professor in the Department of Psychology. She is a clinical psychologist whose research, such as project HOPE, is on the development of personal strengths and emotional well being. Myriam teaches the very large Intro Psych (PSYC 1010) class with great success. She was one of the first faculty to adopt lecture-capture in her classes, and is a passionate supporter of programs designed to help students succeed. Myriam has been a member of the Colleges' Student Success Council, and actively involved in the HealthAid program. S he is the Faculty of Health first year experience representative on the pan-university first year experience working group.

With her extensive academic experience and accomplishments as well as her passion for working with students, Myriam will be an outstanding Master of Calumet College.
