June - Did You Know?

Convocation is a very special and memorable time for many of us. Did you know there are several ways to commemorate the special day? York offers a variety of memorabilia and keepsakes so you can remember the ceremony and graduating forever.

Ceremonial Photos

At the ceremony, a professional photographer will take pictures of each graduate as they greet the Chancellor. Also, a portrait style photo will be taken as the graduate exits the stage. The proofs will be emailed to each graduand where they can decide if they want to purchase them.

Flowers

A big summer bouquet is essential to add colour to your photos or for guests to surprise their loved ones. Toronto-based florist Convocation Flowers sells bouquets during the convocation. There is also the option to order flowers before the ceremony.

Gifts

There are lots of little gifts and keepsakes to help commemorate your Convocation. Diploma frames, rings, watches and other graduation gifts will be available at the reception.

Convocation Video

Remember your convocation in real time with a video of the ceremony. You can order a commemorative video of the entire convocation. Your order arrives four to six weeks after the ceremonies on a USB drive.

Diploma Framing

Protect and frame the thing you have been working so hard for. Make it look stylish on the wall of your office with the framing services provided by York Alumni. You can order a frame online including singles and different graduation packages.
